Celebrity guests chat to specialist veterinary surgeon Rob Adams and Anne-Marie Wallace about the animals they share their lives with, and why their pets are so important to them. Rob offers veterinary advice to guests and listeners and talks through some of the more unusual surgeries he's carried out over the years in his role as a specialist surgeon.Whether your animal is a dog, cat, rabbit, hamster or snake, they are all welcome on Alright, pet? Peeking at Puffins in Rathlin islandAnne-Marie Wallace and specialist vet Rob Adams headed to the sunshine of the Good Woof festival where doggies and owners put on their snazziest outfits and celebrated the power of the pooch.The team watch pups take part in dog agility, doggy olympics and chill out with a little doggy pilates and yoga. Celebrity guests Clare Balding and Bill Bailey give their take on why we need a festival to celebrate our pets and dog owners explain the bond they have with their four legged friends. The teams from Cats Protection and Song bird survival have come together to give tips on keeping birds and cats living harmoniously together.Guide dog Micky and his mum Dawn also join the audience to hear their story and the work that Guide Dogs do for people who have sight loss. Rob Adams makes a 'virtual' appearance chatting to Jaina Mistry whose guide dog Laura was adopted by actor Martin Clunes when she reached retirement age.
