That alone should be the headline. The more and more we watch him practice and walk, it's just a matter of time before the GOAT says enough is enough, and I can't do this anymore. Rory is going for the Career Slam, yet another fantastic headline. Our second Vegas Golf Network event of the season took place, and we chatted about the day out at Mountain Falls. Next for the VGN is our first MAJOR of the season, which will take place at Paiute Golf Resort on the Sun Mountain course. The final Dell Technologies Match Play took place last week. Austin Country Club shined again, with some exciting golf down the stretch. With so many golf fans loving the Match Play format, what will the PGA do to make sure Match Play is still relevant in professional golf? Congrats to Sam Burns on the win!Friend of the show Dana Fall had a decent showing at the LPGA Drive-On Championship. And Harry Hall had a great outing in the Corales Puntacana Championship, finishing T13 for the tournament. We had some fun trying to come up with some Sponsors for the LIV Golf Teams.Also, if LIV Golf comes to Las Vegas, where would they play?Matt Gontarek gave us this weekend's golf FOREcast. Send us a textEpisode 211Matt is back from his trip to NYC and has much to share. There wasn't any golf-related content here other than a quick stop at Chelsea Piers Golf Range, but it was fun talking about New York for a bit, especially Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria. If you're not familiar with the brand Canada Goose, you will be after this segment.Eventually, we got to some golf and dove head-first into the news regarding the USGA and their plans to roll the ball back. There's some heated talk about this, and many talking heads are letting their opinions known. We did the same, and it was a solid conversation.Matt is back to tinkering. He reviewed some of the changes to his bag and shared some news about the new wedges he'll be gaming from Corey Paul.We discussed The Valspar, Jordan Spieth's stupid tee shot on 16, and how Matt has slowly crept into second place in the season-long points race for our Locks. From there, the PGA Tour talk snowballed into some LIV Golf trash talking, which is new for us.
