The Home Composed Song Contest celebrated 33 years in 2024 and is a competition for Eurovision fans who write, perform and produce their own music, who enter their own original song composition (audio only) and then also take part as a jury, to help choose the winning song. In 2024 there were 28 songs from 13 different countries. The Radio International Team once again formed a Jury. The Winning Song of the Home Composed Song Contest 2024 received 151 points from the public and the international juries. Montenegro returns to the contest in 2025 and had already selected their entry in November 2024. 36 countries are taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 which will be taking place on 13 and 15 May 2024 for the two Semi Finals and the Grand Final on 17 May 2025. Radio International will be taking a look at the national finals and showcase the highlights every week in the Eurovision Spotlight and Chris Poppe continues the new series. The Luxembourg Song Contest 2025: The Luxembourg Song Contest is the National Final to select that song that will be representing the country at the Eurovision Song Contetest 2025 in Basel in May. The show will be hosted by RTL and takes place on Saturday, 25 January 2025. Radio International will showcase the seven songs that are in the competition this year.
