As the executive director of Greenpeace International Kumi Naidoo has overseen a change in the organisation's focus away from European issues to the global East and South, China, India and Brazil, where he says the war on climate change will be won or lost. . He went on his first anti-apartheid march in South Africa aged 15 at a time it seemed that dismantling the apartheid regime was impossible, and yet that change finally happened. Naidoo argues that the threat of climate change is more important than all the other challenges humanity has faced, including slavery, colonialism, civil rights in America, and apartheid. He is currently in Australia
