Professor Diane Rasmussen spoke with Rodney Atkinson, one of Britain’s most successful political economists, at his home in the North East of England. They discussed a wide range of urgent national and international issues, including Rodney’s influential work on tracing the rise of the fascist corporatist state in Western democracies, the false construct of the political right and left, the war in Ukraine, Brexit, and the Nazis and fascists behind the European Union.Rodney also shared his views on Reform UK, Ben Habib, and Rupert Lowe, and reflected on his experiences of meeting Margaret Thatcher and other influential political figures in the UK.
